Radio Tracking

Once a uni cruiser spat out some city folk
Under a stinking gidgee tree,
And they sang as they sat pulling spinifex out of their knees:
Who'll come a-radio tracking with me?
Radio tracking, radio tracking,
Who'll come a-radio tracking with me?
And they sang as they sat pulling spinifex out of their knees:
Who'll come a-radio tracking with me?

Up came a dunnart, running through the spinifex
Into the pitfall 7-03,
And he thought as he waited, looking at the starry sky:
Surely they'll go radio tracking with me!
Radio tracking, radio tracking,
Surely they'll go radio tracking with me!
And he thought as he waited, looking at the starry sky:
Surely they'll go radio tracking with me!

Along came the ecologists, swinging their collection bags,
Looked at the dunnart, and grabbed him with glee,
And they clipped his ears and fumbled with his testicles,
You'll come a-radio tracking with me.
Radio tracking, radio tracking,
You'll come a-radio tracking with me.
And they clipped his ears and fumbled with his testicles,
You'll come a-radio tracking with me.

Out came the super glue, oops—collect that dunnart poo—
We'll stick a radio transmitter to you!
And they sang as they soldered and stuck it to the dunnart's back
We'll go a-radio tracking with you!
Radio tracking, radio tracking,
We'll go a-radio tracking with you!
And they sang as they soldered and stuck it to the dunnart's back
We'll go a-radio tracking with you!

Off went the dunnart, diving though the spinifex,
Aerial trailing, and beeping too,
And his song can be heard when you tune to channel 402:
Beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep.
Radio tracking, radio tracking,
We'll go a-radio tracking with you!
And his song can be heard when you tune to channel 402:
Beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep.
